The Rabbit's Liver is an old tale from ancient Korea and is said to be published around the 17-18th century. It is said that this tale originated in India wherein the tale of India, a married crocodile couple were trying to obtain a monkey’s heart. Even though the tales are portrayed in a very similar way, the difference between the two tales can be seen that not only the main characters of the tale changed (rabbit against dragon king and turtle) but also the fact that a married crocodile couple has changed into a king and its servant can be seen that the tale has gone from a matter within a family to a matter within a society.
